| Develop and design Electrical engineering related documents and drawings in order to meet project and client requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and prepare single line, three- line diagrams and protection scheme for electrical power generation and distribution equipment/ systems. Prepare specifications for high, medium and low voltage electrical power generation and distribution equipment such as power generators, MCC, transformers etc. Perform detail electrical design of high, medium and low voltage power generation and distribution system. Prepare electrical power and control cables interconnection block diagrams. Perform Design calculations for cable-sizing, short circuit calculations, lighting calculations, Power balance studying etc. Review of electrical layout drawings and MTO prepared by Designer. Review drawings and specifications prepared by Bidder. Review and checking of cable schedules. Provide technical support to Construction and Commissioning. Review work responsibilities of the Electrical discipline personnel and the manpower requirements for the project. Assist in the preparation of commissioning, operating and maintenance manuals as required by the project. Interact with other engineering disciplines, review vendor documents and perform technical bid evaluation. Prepare man-hour estimates and budgetary quotations and list of deliverables for the purpose of new Bid proposals. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time. |
