| Develop engineering skills in selected discipline through on the job training and maintain training log to demonstrate technical and personal development. Assist in development and design of Electrical engineering related documents and drawings in order to meet project and client requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in development and preparation of single line, three- line diagrams and protection schemes for electrical power generation and distribution equipment/ systems. Assist in preparation of specifications for high, medium and low voltage electrical power generation and distribution equipments such as power generators, MCC, transformers etc. Assist in detail electrical design of high, medium and low voltage power generation and distribution system. Assist in preparation of electrical power and control cables interconnection block diagrams. Perform Design calculations for cable-sizing, short circuit calculations, lighting calculations, Power balance studying etc. Review of electrical layout drawings and MTO prepared by Designer. Review drawings and specifications prepared by Bidder. Review and checking of cable schedules. Provide technical support to Construction and Commissioning. Interact with other engineering disciplines, review vendor documents and perform technical bid evaluation. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time. |
