Job Description * To ensure the timely input of revenue and expenses into the General Ledger system so that all financial reports can be generated on time.
* To prepare bank reconciliations.
* To ensure that revenue reports are matching with bank deposits.
* To ensure payments are made within due dates.
* To ensure that all the revenue generated is reported on time and the information is entered on a timely basis into the General Ledger system.
* To verify and prepare invoices for payment.
* To input all bank transactions, match the receipts with the revenue reports generated and complete all reconciliations.
* To raise queries relating to reconciliations with the country offices.
* To verify the sales reported by country offices with revenue reports and reconcile any differences.
* To supervise the data entry clerk.
* To support the Accountant to ensure a timely period end close. Ideal Candidate * BA degree in Commerce - Accounting.
* Minimum two years work experience as an Accounts Assistant with a reputable organization. Travel industry experience preferred.
* Excellent computer skills, particularly in the use of known General Ledger systems, MS Excel, and other MS Office applications.
* Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
* A fluent English speaker. Arabic is an added advantage. TJ |
