Amman - c$250K + Housing + Benefits

Our client is consortium involved in the development and management of the Queen Alia airport in Amman, Jordan. The 25 year concession plan is part of a drive to make Jordan a regional hub. The $500m project aims to increase the annual capacity to 9 million passengers, nearly 3 times the current capacity. Currently the airport has 400+ employees and a turnover of over $100 million.

The project will consist in building a new terminal of a total surface area of around 100,000 sq m for an amount of about US$ 500 million. The new terminal will be designed by English architect Lord Norman Foster & Partners. The construction of the facilities will be carried out by the J&P Group. Aéroports de Paris Management will run the airport throughout the duration of the concession. The Chief Financial Officer position will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial aspects for the renovation of the existing terminal and the construction of the new terminal. The role will also look after the finance, administration and human resources functions. You will manage thepany’s external relationships and ensure that timely financial records are provided to the necessary bodies. A member of the executivemittee as well as the auditmittee, you will also interact with the Operation, HR andmercial functions.The ideal candidate will: * Be a certified finance professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience; * Have demonstrated a proven working knowledge of public and private partnerships and have managed the process of change from a public to private entity; * Have established systems and procedures that enable the performance of a business to be effectively monitored; * Possess excellent Englishmunication skills, with Arabic being advantageous.
