MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: BS in engineering or equivalent technical field MS or PhD is desirable, but not required; intensive industry training including appropriate speciabrzed courses and seminars is expected. Experience: Typically has at least 15 years of related experience, including 10 years of intensive experience in specialty. Thorough understanding of openhole and production log analysis and interpretation techniques. Very famibrar with computer software techniques used for log analysis. Experience in core analysis and NMR interpretation. Typically will be active in related professional societies and will have achieved professional recognition through pubbrcations, committee activities, etc. Must be clearly recognized by supervisors and colleagues as thoroughly quabrfied and highly competent in area of expertise. Must have demonstrated abibrty to communicate ideas clearly to work effectively with others and to utibrze technical knowledge to achieve practical results. Supervisors and Aramco Management must have confidence in incumbent s judgment and recommendations. Additionally, because or prior contacts and/or industry recognition, Shareholder representatives, SAG personnel and other outside contacts should also recognize incumbent s technical expertise.
