2. Collects, monitors, analyzes and reports all cost information through Project Manager.
3. Assists project management in the negotiation of project contracts as required.
4. Advises lower level cost engineers (III and IV) ofpany cost engineering methods / procedures and coordinates assignments prepared by lower level cost engineers.
5. Keeps abreast of significant developments in cost engineering by close review of technical literature, contacts with contractors, visits to areas of construction and attendance at professional and technical meetings.
6. Utilizes availableputer cost engineering programs. Skills 1. B.S. in Engineering or Professional Engineering (PE) registration. Certified by Institute of Building, Institute of Quantity Surveying, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, HNC, HND.
2. Minimum of seven (7) years cost engineering experience including at least three (3) years devoted to petrochemical, refinery, pipeline or power generation projects. Or Ten (10) years cost engineering experience including at least five (5) years concentrated toward heavy industrial capital projects. Must be familiar with construction practices, materials and equipment.
3. Must have the ability tomunicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
4.
