One of our Clientpany is looking for a self motivated and dynamic person to join there organization as a Construction Coordinator.

Job Summary

The construction coordinator is responsible for the on site coordination and safe, Successfulpletion in terms of schedule, cost and quality for al shutdowns and Turnarounds withinpany affiliate operating plants.

Major Duties / Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Superintendent and internal customers, develop an implementation schedule to level 5 detail (Activities, logic, resources, quantities and durations) for all shutdowns and turnarounds in his area of responsibility.

• In conjunction with the Superintendent and internal customers, provides input into the execution cost estimating process.

• Reporting to the Superintendent, the coordinator coordinates the safe execution of the shutdown or turnaround section assigned to him as per the approved schedule within budget.

• Develops execution safety and quality plans for his assigned area of responsibility and ensures fullpliance.

• Lead construction reviews with other stake holders during the detailed planning phase of any shutdown or turnaround.

• Ensures fullpliance to agreed worklist and gain approval from for any scope deviation.

• Coordinates with all relevant departments to ensure 100%pliance topany safety policies and procedures during shutdown or turnaround.

• Coordinates the site mobilization of contractor personnel and facilities inpliance topany safety and mobilization policies and procedures.

• Ensures, within his area of responsibility that contractors work areasply withpany housekeeping standards.

• Conducts periodic progress reviews with contractors (As per agreed update schedule).

• Provides input to the daily progress schedule update for his area of responsibility. Skills

Qualifications and Experience

- Engineering trade qualification with at least 5 years supervisory and coordination experience.

-Excellent knowledge of quality management systems andpliance (NDT, QCP’s etc.).

- Excellent knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.

- At least 5 years plus experience in the planning, preparation and execution of shutdowns and turnarounds in a Petrochemical plant environment. Education

BS Engineer or equivalentpany Profile
